Positive evaluation of this year’s TRIPLE-I conference

Monday, 29th September 2008

As every year we have sent out an online feedback questionnaire to our TRIPLE-I participants. Rate of return was 34% which indicates the high commitment of our attendees. We are proud that the overall feedback was very positive. Here are some of the results…

  • Participants were highly satisfied with the various parts of the conference such as scientific and industry sessions, panel discussion, exhibition and cooperation event as well as with the overall conference organisation.
  • 75% of the respondents reported that their expectations were entirely or mostly fulfilled.
  • 92% of the respondents consider to attend next year’s conference.

Of course our respondents gave us hints for improvement. As to the suggestions for improvement our participants recommended to increase the number of presentations which address practical examples or to have info corners where presenters could be met for deeper discussions.

Finally, we would like to thank all of you who participated in the conference: Because there is no good conference without a great audience!

International Cooperation Forum was a success

Friday, 26th September 2008

The International Cooperation Forum, which was held at this year’s TRIPLE-I for the second time, brought together companies and research institutions from 9 nations (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia and Cyprus). In total, the 72 participants met in 156 meetings. “This means that each of the participants was on average in 4.33 meetings — a number that we’re very happy with”, said Thomas Roeblreiter, member of the Enterprise Europe Network EEN and the Austrian Research Promotion Agency FFG. Also the feedback of the participants was very positive: For 108 meetings – so far there is feedback for 128 out of the 156 meetings – the participants decided  that the meeting was “very interesting” or that further cooperation is intended.
